Recently, the National Fund received a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, which is focused on assisting National Fund sites in the South that have the greatest need for, and will most beneﬁt from, targeted assistance focused on sustainability. The Kellogg Foundation and the National Fund share a goal of helping these sites strategically plan for sustainability by developing a compelling workforce and economic development vision and strong employer leadership for their communities.
Participating in this project over the next 2 years will allow the EAWIN regional collaborative to:
- Receive direct consulting assistance to guide EAWIN in the development of its strategy and in the identification of a local consultant to assist in the development of the sustainability plan
- Participate in peer learning convenings and webinars focused on collaborative sustainability.
- Hire a local consultant to help your collaborative create a three-year sustainability strategy. The National Fund will reimburse costs associated with hiring a consultant, up to $20,000 per collaborative.
