The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) Advisor helps employers and employees to understand veterans' employee eligibility and job entitlements, employer obligations, benefits, and remedies under USERRA. The Department of Labor's toll-free Call Center can assist workers and employers with questions about Reemployment Rights for Veterans, National Guard or Reservists: 1-866-4-USA-DOL (1-866-487-2365) (TTY: 1-877-889-5627).

Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) 
The Veterans’ Employment and Training Service promotes the economic security of America's veterans through programs designed to minimize unemployment and underemployment among veterans with service connected disabilities and other targeted veterans groups, and by assisting programs and activities that are designed to maximize the employment and training opportunities of all veterans.

The State of Alabama provides qualified veterans with priority in all employment and training programs funded by the U.S. Department of Labor per Title 38 U.S. Code, as amended by the Jobs For Veterans Act (Pub. Law 107-288).
