Career Ready Alabama

Career Ready Alabama is a statewide initiative aimed at increasing career or work-ready skills for individuals and providing businesses a tool to help them identify career ready employees. The program offers access to WorkKeys assessments, WorkKeys job profiles, Alabama Career Readiness Certificates, and online training.

Alabama's Career Readiness Certificate is a nationally recognized certificate, signed by the Governor of Alabama, based on ACT WorkKeys, that gives employers and job seekers a uniform measure of key workplace skills. The Career Readiness Certificate is a portable credential, allowing employers and employees to use it anywhere in the nation. The Worldwide Interactive Network, Inc. (WIN), Career Readiness Coursework (CRC), delivers skill-based training, measured by WorkKeys, to prepare students for college and careers.WIN helps students develop and demonstrate attitudinal and behavioral skills that are critical to success at college and work. Competencies such as conveying professionalism, communicating effectively, promoting teamwork and collaboration, and thinking critically and solving problems are essential parts of WIN’s comprehensive approach.”
